Technology and Toys Run My Life!

Well, once again i've been suckered in by fancy buttons and new technology. First came the ipod, if I would have waited a month later i could have gotten a 30 gig video ipod, but i'll have to stay with my OLD 20 gig, lol, I like it still. BUT, I needed a new cell phone, my old one died and it would cost about 150 bucks to either buy a new temp phone till the contract runs out or spend big bucks to buy out the contract. So, I just scrapped everything on the phone to the basics and put it on the shelf. So now i'm in the telus store looking at new phones, I was leaning towards another mike phone, a nice one, color display, no photo thing or anthing like that, but still nice. But THEN gleaamminng in the light was a couple of Razor phones..... yup, i bought one. It's freakin sweet, lol, see how long it lasts.

You know what would have been cooler....if you'd gotten a mike. Then we could have 'trucker-talk' conversations ALL THE TIME.
Aren't you afraid of snapping that thing in half?? I would be.
I'm only 42...I remember $0.10 phone calls (from phone booths with DIALS not buttons) in Vancouver BC. No one had a cell phone, if they did, they were massive things and feared for cancer and radiation issues. I remember boom boxes the size of drawers, carried upon your shoulder. Now we have all manner of "hidden" gadgets that are getting increasingly smaller...
Would YOU ever get a chip in your skull that could give you the ability to hear music and make/receive phone calls? I bet that is nearer than we think.
I'm a foto-guy,I remember dad locked away in a dark room with trays of chemicals and an enlarger developing and printing his own photographs...the stink of it! Now I shoot digitally and send an image anywhere on earth in a few seconds...he took hours to do a roll of film, in glorious B&W.
razor phones are all the buzz.
but you know you're cool if you got a cool color that describes you, right??
